FFAA - Branch 1 students' projects win the reconstruction of the commercial center in Nabatieh
The projects of students from the Faculty of Fine Arts & Architecture - Branch 1 won the Lebanon-wide competition for the reconstruction of the commercial center in the city of Nabatieh, according to the results announced by the Civil Committee for the reconstruction of the city's market destroyed by the Israeli war.
After discussing and evaluating the projects of students from the faculties of engineering and architecture at Lebanese universities, the project submitted by student Kawthar Al-Rai from the FFAA - Branch 1 won first place, while the project submitted by students Rayan Abdallah and Lara Khachan from the FFAA - Branch 1 ranked second.
The Lebanese University students presented designs to highlight the features of the Nabatieh Souk, combining heritage and modernity and taking into account that the market should be environmentally friendly and provide sustainability for the future.
